About Reframe Within
Reframe Within exists because understanding matters more than managing.
Managing symptoms matters. But when someone has been anxious for years, or carrying grief that won't lift, or repeating the same patterns in relationships, something deeper is usually at work. The focus here is on finding that.
There is also a genuine belief that creativity and reflection are real ways of making sense of experience. Not clinical tools, but a quieter form of thinking that runs through everything.
Reframe Within sits at the intersection of science, creativity, and deep inner work.
About Karina
Hi, I'm Karina, founder of Reframe Within, a counsellor, registered nurse, and lifelong creative with a deep interest in the patterns that shape how we experience ourselves and the world.
My path to counselling has been anything but linear. I've studied architecture, fashion design, and nursing, and I hold a Masters in Counselling and a Masters in Design. What connects all of it is a fascination with structure, meaning, and the interior life. That curiosity now lives at the heart of my therapeutic work.
My approach is integrative, drawing on cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema-informed work, and emotional regulation strategies. The question I return to most in this work is how people make sense of their own experience, and what gets in the way of that.
My nursing background also shapes how I work. Emotional and physical health are not separate. Anxiety, stress, and unresolved experience are often felt in the body as much as the mind, and that awareness stays with me in every session.
If you've been carrying something for a long time and haven't quite found the right words for it, that's often where this work begins.
This is a good place to start.
No need to have it figured out. Just reach out.
We will get back to you within two business days. If you have questions, we will answer them. If you are ready to book, we will help you do that. And if you are not sure yet, that is completely fine too. The first step is just making contact.
